Kate Garraway has expressed her shock at footballer Cristiano Ronaldo becoming a dad.
The former Manchester United star, who now plays for Real Madrid, announced last week he has a baby son - who will also be called Cristiano Ronaldo.
But with Ronaldo, 25, also confirming the boy's mum will not be involved in his upbringing, there is a lot of mystery surrounding the new arrival.
And GMTV presenter Kate, a mum-of-two, has questioned his decision to start a family now.

She wrote in her new! magazine column: "It is claimed that he paid a surrogate mother to have his child, and that he intends to bring up the baby boy by himself, with no input from the birth mother.
"If it's true, I can't help wondering what made him make such a decision, when clearly he's still young and could have a child with his girlfriend, Irina Shayk, or a future partner, if he wanted. Let's face it, there are plenty of women out there who would willingly oblige."
She added: "I must admit, part of me feels a bit sad that he has opted out of the traditional family unit.
"Still, I am sure he will make a great dad and, given that he earns £180,000 a week as Real Madrid's star player, I'm guessing he'll be able to afford a very good nanny!"
